Helping Children Flourish
Parents and educators have come to know that Kids Corner specializes in helping children flourish in settings after-school and away from school. Kids Corner was launched to help children with wholesome supervision after school. Our first school was one where almost all parents worked until after 5pm. Parents there felt Home-work clubs and, “After-Care” were not embellishing their child’s learning. They liked that Kids Corner would give their children an activity for 2 or more hours after school ended.
Since those early months, Kids Corner has recruited instructors who can work after school and provide “Learning and Fun — All in One!”
Offerings Cover All Seasons and Situations
Kids Corner expanded its after-school activities, and now offers schools over 20 possible courses, for fall, winter, and Spring. Some schools now enlist Kids Corner for all seasons.
That includes summer. Kids Corner began helping families by having one to three week-long summer “Learning & Fun Camps”. These begin in Mid-June and can run to as late as Labor Day weekend. These run mornings or afternoons. Parents wanting their children in two activities in a week can choose a morning and an afternoon activity, joined by supervised “Lunch and Study” or “Pool and Play”.
Taking Pressure Off Parents
Kids Corner believes that group activities are more fun, and with multiple engaged students there is more chance to learn than at home. Kids Corner let students learn an activity without putting pressure on a parents. Parents are often relieved that they don’t need to prep to help thier children advance, and won’t be ridiculed if they make a mistake teaching chess, softball, robotics, etc.
Parents now can enlist Kids Corner for activities following a shortened day. And Parents who want their schools to put on an evening activity during PTO meeting, school Board meeting, or activities their older children participate in can also bring Kids Corner for activities at the school.
And School Boards
School Boards will appreciate higher parents attendance, and parents will be grateful that they need not pay for a baby sitter. Ultimately, Kids Corner can be schools’ best ally for a wholesome extention of their childrens’ development.
